Gloria Gatti Schwendeman of Kennett Square
Gloria Gatti Schwendeman 89, of Kennett Square, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011, at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. She was the wife of Charles I. Schwendeman, who passed away in 2000, and with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Quinto and Erminia Smaniotto Gatti. Gloria was an administrative assistant at Longwood Gardens, retiring in 1986, after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Kennett Square. She was also a volunteer at the Kennett Senior Center and the Red Cross. She is survived by one son, Barry L. Schwendeman and his wife Linda of Newark, Del. and one grandson, Darrell L. Schwendeman. You are invited to visit with Gloria’s family and friends from 10 to 10:30 on Monday morning, February 14, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA (Phone: 610-444-4116). Her funeral service will follow at 10:30. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square.
